Who are we?

   Hi, my name is Helen, and I am the woman behind Belle Designs. I have given up being a fully qualified Dental Hygienist, as my real passion lies with sewing, and I have been making things for many years. I just love creating things out of fabric, whether it's cushions, bags, clothes or fancy dress costumes..... if it can be sewn, I will sew it.

    Belle Designs is my sewing company based in Battlesbridge, Essex, offering bespoke and ready to buy hand crafted products. I have a range of products already made in my shop, but also products can be made to your specific requirements, and you will be involved as much or as little as you like during the whole process.  We now also stock Amber Toad Jewellery and Pumpkin Palace Pottery. The Portfolio page will show you items I have already made for other people and may give you some inspiration and ideas about what I do.

You can now find Helen sewing and selling at 3 New Barn, Bones Lane antiques centre, Hawks Hill, Battlesbridge. As well as popping in to see Helen, you can visit the rest of the antiques and craft centre, have a cup of tea in the cafe, and even feed the ducks on the pond!
